New Image International:Simple is difficult. - Complicated is easy.

Simple is difficult. - Complicated is easy.

One of the quirkiest things about human beings is our ability to make things complicated. That's because it's easy to be complicated, whereas it's difficult to be simple. Making things difficult is in our DNA. It just happens. It especially happens when committees are formed. It happens all the time in government (boy, does it ever!).

Even the weight loss industry makes things difficult. If a person has some extra pounds on their body, it's almost always because over a period of time that person ate more calories than their body burned as fuel. Therefore, the simple and logical thing to do to lose that extra poundage is to simply reverse that process by eating less calories and moving the body more (aka "exercise") so that they body burns its own excess fat for fuel. But no, we humans make weight loss much more complicated, due in part to the massive amount of diet and food consumption information (B.S.) that we're bombarded with through the media, constant contradictory advice from the "experts", and constant "eat this & eat that" advertising from the food companies.

In the network marketing industry, making things complicated happens all the time. Not a week goes by that some eager-beaver network marketer claims to have developed a "new & better" recruiting and business-building system. They claim that their new "one-of-a-kind super-charged system" is guaranteed to work, that it's infallible, that it's your golden ticket to prosperity

Success in network marketing is all about triggering incremental growth. You don’t try and manage all the marketing on your own. No other system can compete. Just share your story when socialising daily making it a habit with everyone you meet. Its about duplication. Every structure needs support and so do networks to be sustainable. This means focusing on leadership development. Ensuring you help potential leaders in your organisation progress up the career path.

Every ounce of my common sense and rational thinking knew that this method of building a large downline was spot on logical and effective. Most of all, it was powerfully simple, which means it's powerfully duplicable, and that is critical for success.

Throughout your network marketing career, you'll be subjected to all sorts of "systems" that claim to be better than anything and everything that came before it. Unfortunately 99.999% of those ‘New & improved' systems only make things difficult, and don't do what they claim to do.

Moreover, throughout your network marketing career you and your downline will have to fight the urge to make things difficult. Because making things difficult is part of our DNA, you must always be on top of your game to keep things simple and effective. What you do others copy.
